SMALL GROUP WORKSHOPS / 60-90mins / up to 8 participants

These sessions foster an enriching environment where peer discussions flourish, and participants genuinely appreciate and respect each other's insights, guidance, and viewpoints. There are two formats: in-person gatherings at your London office location, or online sessions where everyone participates from the comfort of their own screen. To maintain the integrity of the experience, I do not offer hybrid workshops that combine both in-person and online particpants.

 GIVING AND RECEIVING FEEDBACK / 90min

When we receive constructive feedback, we learn as we work and learn from our mistakes. Feedback can be positive - praise and recognition - or negative; both are important. This workshop aims to help you give and receive clear feedback.

PRODUCTIVE CONFLICT / 90 min

Productive conflict can lead to constructive discussions, fresh ideas, and improvements in any organisation. However, performance suffers when conflicts between managers, employees, and teams become dysfunctional. This workshop aims to help us embrace conflict as necessary and constructive and give tips on dealing with it.

DELEGATION SKILLS / 90min

Delegation is more than simply telling someone what to do. When done correctly, delegation can improve your productivity and your team's. This workshop aims to strengthen delegation skills by providing a structured framework.

DECISION-MAKING / 60min

Improving business results through good decision-making is an essential part of a architect’s role. Today though, a great deal of architects are worried about making the wrong choice or they are stuck in a procrastination and leave decisions as a last-minute exercise.

STRESS MASTERY / 60min

Mental health has always been a cause for concern in the architectural industry. By understanding what stress is and how it affects us, we can appreciate stress and adjust our responses to have a better relationship with it.

Building Your Powerbase / 90min

Relationships are one of the most valuable currencies that architects have today. Your network or “powerbase” allows you to make things happen, learn about opportunities before others, and gain access to resources and information that others don’t have. This workshop will guide you in assessing, improving, and strengthening your “powerbase”.e.

OUTLINE:

  • Create an awareness of what it takes to build strong professional relationships proactively

  • Look at ways to improve your current Powerbase

  • Understand how to assess relationships and develop strategies to strengthen and improve them

  • Kick-start creating your future Powerbase and what needs to shift in you to make this happen.

PERSONAL VALUES 90min / COMPANY VALUES 3 hrs (or enquire)

Your values are what you believe is essential in the way you live and work. They (should) determine your priorities and be the measures you use to tell if your life is turning out the way you want it to. This workshop is adaptable for either a small group or entire company, with focus on individual values or defining company values.

WOMEN IN ARCHITECTURE / 2-3hr

This workshop aims to get women thinking pro-actively about barriers to progression and what raises performance levels. This workshop has evolved from the report: WOMEN IN ARCHITECTURE: Self-Development and Career Advancement for Mid-Level Professionals.

Outline:

  • Pre-work: Attendees answer an online questionnaire about their approach to self-development for feedback into the workshop.  

Report summary plus group discussion on:

  • Approach: How do you approach your professional self-development right now?

  • Barriers: What is hindering you from the self-development opportunities that you need?

  • Performance: What can you do to ensure that you perform at your best this year?

  • Planning: What should you focus on for personal and professional growth?

  • Key findings and what is next for the group

BESPOKE LEGO SERIOUS PLAY WORKSHOPS / 2-4 Hr

Attendees: Up to 10 (Larger groups on discussion). Location: London, your office

The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology is a facilitated thinking, communication and problem-solving application for organisations, groups and teams. Each participant builds individual and shared LEGO models using specially selected LEGO bricks. These 3D models serve as the basis for group discussion, knowledge sharing, problem solving and decision-making.
